Welcome to Heights Club

Head Coach & Club Manager, Debbie, started the club back in 1993 with just two trampolines and just 12 trampoline gymnasts. Since then the club has grown and now offers trampolining, gymnastics, acro, dance, and DMT with memberships reaching the 200 mark!

It is a requirement by British Gymnastics (BG) that all coaches are BG certified, have a cleared DBS, and have attended safeguarding training. Coaches qualifications range from Level 1 up to Level 5. As well as our dedicated welfare officer, our coaches serve as health & safety and IT leads, ensuring everyone is training in a safe environment.

Coaching assistants can attend a helpers course from the age of 14 in their chosen discipline, which can also be used for Duke of Edinburgh or PE courses.

Additionally, the club follows the British Gymnastics & British Ballet Organisation (BBO) syllabus, starting with fundamentals and working through to the advanced levels.

We are a competitive and recreational club providing opportunities to compete when ready or work towards certificates and badges. Acrobatics & Dance offers opportunities to participate in shows and festivals. Trampoline, DMT & Gymnastics offers opportunities to participate in local, club, and regional competitions.

In addition to physical skills, gymnasts can learn teamwork, social skills, leadership skills, and build on self-confidence.
